The player can jump, climb, run, push or pull objects, and carry various objects around the landscapes of the Island. The game is played with a third-person viewpoint as the player guides a young boy that has washed ashore on an Island. During the gameplay, the player needs to control the boy in accomplishing environmental puzzles divided into five massive levels based on the five grief’s stages. The storyline revolves around the boy, who is reaching at and finding a mysterious Island after witnessing his father fall from the boat during a strong storm.
